So, obviously I haven't been doing the 30 day challenge.. but with good reason. Since Thursday morning at 6am I have been babysitting my four wild nieces and nephews. I've barely had time to breathe (a bit of an exaggeration). But seriously, I have no idea how my sister does it. She's always involved in church things, helps out with catering, house is always clean, dishes always done, has a home cooked meal every night, her house is always in order, she does yard work, goes to the gym every day. How she does all of that, along with keeping up with her WILD kids, is beyond me. Probably helps that she doesn't have a blog or facebook to take up her time. Props to her. And all you other mothers out there, including my own. How my mom raised NINE kids while my dad was on the road all the time is definitely beyond me.
I've made it half way though, doing pretty good. Maybe my sister will share with me her secret when she returns on Saturday. Motherhood is tough stuff, man.
FYI: I finished my mission papers, and will be receiving a pretty exciting letter in the mail in about two weeks. I'm super stoked, I won't lie. And I'm betting I'll go to Kirtland, Ohio.

Day Three
My perfect first date.. hmmm..
Well, I have been on some pretty awful dates, a couple of pretty good dates, and I can only think of ONE date that was near my 'perfect date'. So I'll describe that one, I guess.
I went out with one of my good friends from High School. We rarely hung out outside of school, but he was in most of my classes and definitely kept me entertained throughout the duration of them. He was very witty, considerate, goofy, and was always so happy. After we graduated he told me that he wanted to take me out, and I was so excited because I knew it would be a good time with him. We went to Wingers, which isn't exactly my first option, but it was surprisingly delicious! Then we went to his house and watched Kung-fu Panda.. haha. So it wasn't a glamorous date, which was nice because that could get awkward (unless its with a long-time boyfriend or something), but I always find that the cheap dates are the best.
So my perfect date would be something like that. A guy that I really wanted to go out with, and doing something that doesn't cost a fortune. I'm pretty easy to please.
By the way.. if you were even wondering, the guy I mentioned is currently on a mission. He had long-time girl friend all through high school, which is probably why we never hung out.. But now she's married, and he will be returning home soon. Which is kind of a bummer, because I'm leaving soon. Maybe he'll write me or something.. :)

Day Two

Today I went to Chili's with the girls in my family. Thought I'd try something new, and the Caribbean Salad sounded pretty promising- Plus my dentist today asked if I had lost weight, which I have, so I thought I'd keep up my good work and settle for a salad. It totally sucked! I should have got the Monterey Chicken or Chicken Crispers instead. Of course, I would have to work twice as hard at the gym, but it would definitely be worth it. I'll remember that for next time.

DAY 1: My day was pretty uneventful. I woke up at 9:00 sharp with my alarm set as Finn Hudson singing, "I'll Stand By You". Yes, it's official. I'm a gleek. Well anyway, it was pretty cold when I woke up, so I didn't want to get out of my bed, so I just stayed wrapped up in my big ole' blanket and didn't actually get out of bed until 10:30. Which was fine, it's not like I had anything to do anyway. I treated myself with a poptart, and watched some Family Feud. After being lazy for what felt like 10 hours, I got semi-ready, and waited for my sister to come home so we could go to the gym together. She declined my offer, so I just ended up kangoo-jumping around the greenbelt by myself. How rude of her, right?! Came home, ate a delicious fajita that my mom made, and read scriptures with the family. Watched a little bit of Dancing with the Stars, and here I am blogging. I won't lie, my life is pretty exciting....
I didn't want to take a picture today, I don't exactly look presentable after I work out. But we
just a cute picture with my momma and sisters. It's so fun to have them all home!
I know you're all excited about reading tomorrow's post..
